About VIP Auto Care Wilmington

Located at 6402 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405, VIP Auto Care Wilmington operates as a car wash serving Wilmington in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Wilmington, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across North Carolina, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach VIP Auto Care Wilmington at (910) 405-8523; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 135 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded car washes in Wilmington.

Amazing job! You can just pull up here and they will get you right!

VIP auto care is the place to go! Everyone is so kind and respectful, they’ll answer any questions you may have. All the employees are personable and great to chat with. In the lobby they got the AC pumping for the hot summer sun and have multiple seats to sit in for when they are busy and a TV to watch too which is a huge benefit! They also have a bench outside to sit on if you enjoy soaking in the summer sun, like me! The atmosphere here is the best, they keep the tunes rolling out in the garage. So I can reassure you they’ll get the job done and do it right! They cleaned my 2005 Nissan Xterra, which I usually do but they got it shining way better than I ever have, but heck I can see my the reflection in the paint. I’ll definitely be back, thanks again VIP!

Awesome experience, clean comfortable waiting area, knowledgeable manager explains service to detail. And the wash was top notch thorough detail on my Suburban big body. I would highly recommend monthly service as I am locked in. Thanks to Douglas and his vip team of detailers.

Best car wash in town. These boys take their time and are very efficient! The time they take and the attention to detail is amazing! I’ll never go anywhere else! This is a Small family owned business. If you go, you should plan on waiting 1.5-2 hours. Due to their attention to detail it takes a while. Don’t go in a hurry. It is worth the wait.

This place is great. Stopped in a few days ago to take care of a Mustang that needed some extra work and they did a great job. Brought in my truck and truck camper, and they got that looking great also. Can't say enough about them and their prices are great for the work they put in.
